Wow what an amazing weekend....
04/06/2017  Damien
Friday evening was our first ever visit to Buckmore Park Go Kart circuit and the weather was looking great until the driver briefing then the heavens opened and the track was totally water logged, the 30min endurance was fantastic with a great group of people and although we didn't manage the overall win we did get the fastest lap by over a second.

Saturday morning started with a trip to ABW Motorsport and collection of the freshly painted bonnet, boot lid and front wings.

On to Norfolk next and the viewing of a very nice Series 2 Legacy Turbo, more on this later....

From Norfolk we traveled to meet the guys from Clark Motorsport and collect our new Samsonas sequential and swap it for the crunchy gearbox out of our Evo 6. Clark are going to overhaul the Mitsubishi gearbox and have it back to us good as new.

From there we had a pit stop at SD Motorsports HQ before heading to Harewood Hill and having a go at this hill climbing malarkey.

Run one at low boost and a 69s time came up, just as the time came up so did most of the water from the cars cooling system, the car has been nursing a head gasket "issue" for a while now and it looked as though the car wasn't going to take a lot of abuse. After the first timed run and a 66s pass we decided to leave Steven to it and not risk his chances of winning the class. Our plan worked and Steven managed yet another win at this fantastic event. Harewood Hillclimb is such a great event and venue, the people are so incredibly friendly and helpful from signing on to the kitchen staff to the marshals, everyone made us feel so welcome and we will definitely be returning in the Legacy when it's all built up.

And if all that wasn't enough the guys at Track Formula have been grafting all weekend and the paddle shift system is pretty much complete.

Lots of pictures and details to follow.
